Job Description

As a Program Manager, Strategic Communications at The Convergence Foundation, you will play a key role in anchoring the communications outreach related to Economic Growth and Human Capital Development. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing communication and PR programs in collaboration with various teams and stakeholders. You will be in charge of developing content, managing digital assets such as social media accounts, newsletters, and the website. Additionally, you will focus on knowledge management and maintaining relationships with partners and vendors to ensure timely and relevant information dissemination. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate campaigns/outreach strategies in alignment with TCF's focus areas
  • Map and engage stakeholders and influencers for campaigns
  • Create concept notes and presentations for campaigns
  • Identify and leverage media and digital opportunities
  • Manage relationships with agencies and partner organizations to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Maintain and enhance TCF's digital presence on platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Generate custom digital-friendly content and collateral
  • Monitor social media analytics and provide regular reports for growth strategies
  • Oversee the distribution and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral
  • Create innovative communication vehicles to maximize stakeholder engagement
  • Produce articles, blogs, posters, brochures, and other collateral for TCF's communication needs

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields
  • 4-5 years of experience in planning and executing mass media and social media campaigns
  • Proficiency in drafting communication materials in various formats
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in storyboarding, branding, and communications
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Canva and strong visual aesthetics
  • Digital expertise in website development and social media management
  • Ability to collaborate with media teams and agencies
  • Skill in synthesizing content for engaging communication
