Key Responsibilities
- Record and post day-to-day accounting transactions in books.
- Prepare and maintain accounting vouchers, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
- Verify invoices, bills, and expense claims for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare vendor payment lists and maintain accounts payable records.
- Monitor customer receivables, reconcile receipts, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and accounting records.
- Perform other finance and accounting-related tasks assigned by management.
