Responsibilities
Identify and engage potential clients through meaningful networking and outreach in the Silver Spring community.
Evaluate the specific risk management needs of individuals and business owners to suggest suitable coverage options.
Prepare and present tailored insurance proposals that clearly explain the benefits of various policy structures.
Maintain an accurate database of client interactions and follow-ups to ensure long-term retention.
Collaborate with our underwriting partners to secure competitive rates for our client base.
Participate in local community events to increase the visibility of our agency and support our neighbors.
Requirements
Active Maryland Property & Casualty insurance license.
Minimum of three years of professional sales experience within the insurance sector.
Demonstrated ability to manage a pipeline of prospective clients independently.
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and agency management software.
Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on active listening.
Experience with commercial lines coverage is a definite plus.
