Position/Designation: Fleet Head

Location: Gurgaon

Experience - MBA with 15+years' experience in logistic industry only

• The Fleet Head – PAN India will be responsible for managing and optimizing the trailer fleet operations across India. This role will ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of trailers, compliance with regulations, vehicle maintenance, and driver management to support the organization's logistics and supply chain needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Management: Oversee the nationwide trailer fleet, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
• Operations & Logistics Coordination: Plan and execute fleet movement to align with business demands, customer requirements, and operational deadlines.
• Budget & Cost Control: Develop and monitor budgets related to fleet operations, fuel consumption, maintenance, and repairs to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Maintenance & Compliance: Ensure all trailers comply with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards. Oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors for procurement of spare parts, fuel, insurance, and other fleet-related services. Negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
• Driver Management: Oversee driver recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and driving standards.
• Technology & Automation: Implement fleet management software and GPS tracking systems to monitor fleet movement and optimize performance.
• Risk & Safety Management: Identify potential risks, implement safety policies, and ensure compliance with national transportation regulations.
