Role Description The Mental Health Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves providing confidential mental health support, counseling, and guidance to employees across the organization. The specialist will conduct individual assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate case management for team members experiencing mental health concerns or work-related stress. Day-to-day responsibilities include offering crisis intervention when needed, facilitating psychoeducational workshops, and promoting awareness of mental health resources and best practices. The role also includes collaborating with HR and leadership to design and implement well-being initiatives, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring all services comply with ethical, legal, and organizational standards. The Mental Health Specialist will regularly evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations for improving mental health support within the company.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Mental Health Care and Mental Health support across diverse populations.
• Educational background in Psychology or a closely related field, with the ability to apply psychological principles in workplace settings.
• Experience with Case Management, including assessment, care planning, follow-up, and coordination with internal and external resources.
• Demonstrated skills in Crisis Intervention, including risk assessment, de-escalation, safety planning, and timely referral when necessary.
• Relevant professional certification or licensure in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work (where applicable) is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams and job roles.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards in all interactions.
• Experience designing and delivering mental health awareness sessions or workshops in organizational settings is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple cases, and collaborate effectively with HR and leadership.
