As a Maintenance Supervisor, your role involves supervising and leading a team of maintenance technicians to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, scheduling, and executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for press machines and associated equipment
- Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns, coordinating rapid troubleshooting and repair to minimize production downtime
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders, spare parts usage, and equipment performance data
- Conducting daily shift briefings, assigning tasks, and providing on-the-job training and guidance to team members
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and ISO standards, leading safety audits, and incident investigations
- Collaborating with production engineering and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues and improve process reliability
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF, MTTR, and OEE
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and equipment optimization through root cause analysis and data-driven insights
- Managing inventory of critical spare parts and ensuring timely procurement to avoid delays in maintenance activities
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or team leadership within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methodologies
- Proficiency in using CMMS for work order management, reporting, and data analysis
- Strong understanding of OSHA, ISO, and safety compliance standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and manage emergency equipment repairs
- Experience with KPI tracking and performance improvement initiatives (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, OEE)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to train and develop team members while maintaining high operational standards
- Associate's or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred
