Job Description

Inventory Control Analyst

Onsite | Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Manufacturing | NetSuite ERP

Be the Inventory Accuracy Expert Behind a High‐Performance CPG Operation

We are seeking a detail‐driven Inventory Control Analyst with strong NetSuite and cycle count experience to support inventory accuracy in a fast‐paced Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing environment. This is a hands‐on, onsite role for someone who thrives in production‐driven operations and understands how precise inventory data directly impacts service levels, margins, and financial reporting.

You will work closely with Production, Warehousing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure inventory transactions are accurate, timely, and consistently executed in NetSuite. This role is ideal for an inventory professional who enjoys root‐cause analysis, field‐level problem solving, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

As the Inventory Control Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring inventory integrity across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within a CPG manufacturing setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review daily inventory transactions in NetSuite ERP to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor and resolve negative inventory balances, unusual adjustments, and transaction errors
  • Coordinate and participate in weekly and monthly cycle counts, ensuring accurate execution and timely variance resolution
  • Investigate material flow issues related to production usage, scrap reporting, scanning errors, and transaction timing
  • Research and reconcile lost, missing, or unaccounted‐for materials
  • Partner with production and warehouse teams to correct transactional errors at the source
  • Track and report inventory accuracy metrics and recurring variance trends
  • Support management of aging, slow‐moving, or obsolete inventory, including analysis and disposition support
  • Assist with month‐end inventory reconciliation and audit preparation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory controls, procedures, and data accuracy
  • Promote adherence to standard operating procedures across inventory and material handling processes

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree or equivalent hands‐on experience in inventory control or manufacturing operations
  • 3+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
  • Strong working experience with NetSuite ERP (inventory transactions, adjustments, counts)
  • Cycle count methodologies
  • Production material flow (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
  • Inventory transactions and root‐cause analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with production, warehouse, and finance teams
  • Comfortable working onsite in an active production environment

Why This Opportunity Appeals to CPG Inventory Professionals

  • Hands‐on, visible role with real operational impact
  • Strong focus on NetSuite, cycle counts, and production accuracy
  • Opportunity to influence inventory reliability in a fast‐moving CPG environment
  • Collaborative team culture with exposure to cross‐functional operations
  • Competitive compensation and growth potential for high performers

If you are a CPG inventory professional who knows NetSuite, understands cycle counting in production environments, and takes pride in clean, reliable inventory data, this role offers the chance to make a measurable impact every day. Apply today and bring precision to the product flow.
