UX Designers

Role Overview

The Client is seeking experienced Senior UX Designers to help design and deliver modern digital services. The role focuses on applying user centred design practices across the full product lifecycle.

The selected candidates will collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to research user needs, design solutions, test prototypes, and continuously improve digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead user experience design activities across Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live delivery phases
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions, and kickoff meetings to define user problems and product goals
• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user behaviour and needs
• Develop user personas, journey maps, storyboards, and service blueprints
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and user interface solutions for digital products
• Validate design solutions through usability testing and research analysis
• Collaborate with product teams in Agile delivery environments
• Create and refine user stories to guide development teams
• Ensure accessibility compliance and usability standards are applied across products
• Analyze user behaviour and service analytics to drive continuous product improvement

User Experience Design

• Extensive experience applying UX design best practices and user centred design methodologies
• Strong understanding of mobile first and responsive design principles
• Ability to rapidly iterate and improve design solutions based on user feedback
• Experience designing for complex digital products or services
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and design validation

UX Research and Deliverables

• User personas and stakeholder mapping
• User interview scripts and topic maps
• User interview synthesis and research findings reports
• User storyboards and service blueprints
• Prototypes and usability testing documentation
• Product vision and design artifacts supporting MVP development

Technical Skills

• Expertise with UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, Axure, Zeplin, or JustInMind
• Experience building wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
• Knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is considered an asset
• Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, or NodeJS is beneficial

Agile and Product Delivery

• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum methodologies
• Participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Experience collaborating with product owners, developers, and cross functional teams
• Ability to design and validate user stories one sprint ahead of development

Relationship Management

• Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to mediate discussions between business and technical teams
• Experience supporting organizational change across multiple delivery phases
• Ability to work effectively within balanced product teams

Soft Skills

• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to clearly explain design decisions and solutions
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in distributed teams

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Usability, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on complex digital product design projects
