The ideal candidate will have experience in bridge and transportation projects, have hands-on experience inspecting structural concrete elements and a strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and agency requirements, including work with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA).</span></p> <p style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;</p> <h1 style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-family: impact, sans-serif; color: rgb(17, 32, 61); font-size: 24pt;"><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></span></h1> <ul> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;">Perform field inspections of structural concrete work for bridges and transportation infrastructure projects.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;">Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, plans, and applicable standards.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;">Inspect reinforcing steel, formwork, concrete placement, curing, and finishing operations.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;">Verify material compliance, including concrete mix designs, delivery tickets, and placement procedures.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;">Document daily inspection reports, field observations, and non-conformance issues.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and agency representatives.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure adherence to safety standards and site-specific safety requirements.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;">Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1 style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-family: impact, sans-serif; color: rgb(17, 32, 61); font-size: 24pt;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></h1> <ul> <li style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade l is preferred.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prior experience performing construction bridge inspections on transportation infrastructure projects.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with bridge construction methods, materials, and quality assurance procedures.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong written and verbal communication skills.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bridge inspection or heavy highway/transportation project experience preferred.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience working on NJTA projects is a plus.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of NJDOT, NJTA, and other regional agency standards and inspection procedures.</span></li> </ul> <p style="line-height: 1.4;"><br><span style="color: rgb(208, 152, 71); font-size: 12pt;"><em>Join us as we redefine excellence in engineering and construction management, shaping tomorrow's infrastructure landscape with innovation and precision.
