This role is ideal for a hands-on individual contributor who can manage day-to-day accounting operations while partnering cross-functionally with project teams and senior leadership to improve financial visibility and performance. This position will play a critical role in strengthening our financial infrastructure, with a focus on accounting, cash flow management, and lending support, while establish scalable processes. <h1 style="line-height: 1.4;">WHAT YOU'LL DO</h1> Core Accounting & Close <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Supervise a team of accounting professionals, managers and associates</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Support preparation of accurate and timely financial statements</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist in establishing and maintaining internal controls and accounting procedures</li> </ul> Project Accounting & Operational Support <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Review project setup to ensure alignment with contract terms and revenue recognition standards</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Support WIP reporting, project profitability analysis, and labor utilization tracking</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist in monitoring unbilled revenue, billing accuracy, and project performance</li> </ul> Cash Flow & Working Capital <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Support cash flow forecasting and ongoing liquidity tracking</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Monitor accounts receivable, aging, and collections for public agency clients</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Help drive improvements in billing cycles and cash conversion</li> </ul> Asset-Based Lending & Financial Reporting <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare and maintain borrowing base certificates and supporting documentation</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with lender reporting requirements and compliance tracking</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to financial reporting packages for senior leadership</li> </ul> Reporting & Analysis <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and variances</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide insights to support decision-making across projects and business units</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Help build and refine processes for project accounting, reporting, and financial tracking</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to development of SOPs and scalable workflows</li> </ul>   <h1 style="line-height: 1.4;">QUALIFICATIONS</h1> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus, not required)</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">5–10+ years of relevant experience in accounting/finance</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in AEC, engineering, or construction services strongly preferred</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with ERP systems (Deltek preferred) and strong Excel skills</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally in a growing environment</li> </ul> Join us as we redefine excellence in engineering and construction management, shaping tomorrow's infrastructure landscape with innovation and precision.
