Role Summary:
We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on various construction projects. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
- Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work.
- Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP/EMP, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Rate: $44 per hour
- Shift: 14 on and 7 off, 10 hour days
- Travel Allowance: 4 hours paid travel
- Accommodations: Camp Provided
- Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
