• Works with professionals to design equipment, develop process flow diagrams and equipment layouts for new and existing food products.
• Collaborates with clients, engineers, and other staff to understand the specified material and the conveyance, transport, or other handling needs.
• Ensures that designs and layouts conform to specifications and food safety requirements.
• Communicates with equipment vendors and co-packers to obtain all necessary designs, drawings, and utility information.
• Provides on-site project support to assist in accurate process equipment installation with our service engineers using the project installation drawings (Layout).
• Develop experiment designs, collects and records data.
• Provide technical support to the Food Science, Culinary team, Science team and Marketing team members.
• Prepare oral and written reports for all activities and present findings.
• Develop and modify SOPs for new and existing products.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
• Act as project responsible design engineer for complete orders.
• Participation in design reviews.
• Co-operate/alignment with other functions, internal and external, to secure that the design fulfills internal and external customer needs such as manufacturability, ease of assembly and serviceability.
• Participate in R&D projects when applicable.
• Comply with time schedules and deadlines.
• If required need to visit on site. Experience in material handling, food processing equipment’s.
• Must have 3-5 years of experience on Solid works/Auto-desk Inventor.
• Ability to think in creative, innovative, and abstract terms.
• Ability to assess and solve complex issues.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of staff.
• Ability to collaborate and lead team to meet a common goal.
• Ability to increase the efficiency of machinery and systems.
• Extremely proficient with related software.
