Supply Chain Manager - General Trade

Working Days - 6 Days (Mon- Sat)

Location - Kandivali (West)

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning & Operations

• Develop and execute supply plans aligned with sales forecasts for General Trade
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure uninterrupted product availability
• Monitor daily dispatches and depot replenishments

Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels across factories, depots, and distributors
• Control slow-moving and non-moving inventory, especially short shelf-life SKUs
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance for food and snack products

Distributor & Depot Coordination

• Manage supply chain operations across GT distributors and C&F locations
• Ensure high fill rates and timely order fulfillment
• Resolve supply-related issues faced by distributors and sales teams

Procurement & Production Coordination

• Plan raw material and packaging material requirements with procurement
• Coordinate production schedules based on demand and inventory norms
• Minimize stock-outs and excess production

Process & Cost Optimization

• Identify opportunities to reduce logistics, warehousing, and inventory holding costs
• Improve supply chain efficiency through process improvements
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements

Reporting & Systems

• Track and analyze KPIs such as fill rate, inventory turns, aging, and service levels
• Prepare regular MIS reports for management
• Work with ERP/SAP or other supply chain systems

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
• Strong experience in General Trade (GT) (Mandatory)
• FMCG background is mandatory (Food / Snacks preferred)
• Sound understanding of distribution-led supply chains
• Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills
• Experience handling multiple SKUs and short shelf-life products
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP/SAP experience preferred
