About the Job

The Distribution Analyst supports Retail and Ecommerce DC operations by driving performance optimization, shipment visibility, and operational process improvement across inbound and outbound DC flows. This role partners closely with DC leadership, Retail operations, and Finance to improve service execution, throughput efficiency, and cost control.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

Distribution Center Operational Performance & Execution

Analyze inbound & outbound DC activity to identify service, throughput, & cost opportunities

  • Monitor DC performance metrics including fulfillment, shipment accuracy, exceptions, and cycle time
  • Perform root cause analysis on operational breakdowns and recurring service issues
  • Identify process gaps and drive improvements across Retail and Tuxedo workflows
  • Develop reporting tools to improve visibility into DC performance metrics

Performance Reporting & Financial Alignment

  • Develop DC KPI dashboards and partner with Finance to validate reporting and spend reconciliation
  • Monitor parcel and freight expense trends impacting Retail distribution operations
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis to support operational decisions and process changes

Project Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve DC efficiency, service, and process standardization
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving sessions and gap assessments
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and measurable success metrics
  • Track and report operational performance improvements and cost impact

Skills & Experience

  • 2–4+ years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Strong understanding of distribution center workflows and retail fulfillment operations
  • Experience supporting DC or warehouse environments preferred
  • Experience with WMS, reporting tools, or data visualization systems a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to lead cross-functional projects

This job operates in an Office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers & keyboards, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

The starting salary for this position is $54,600 – $72,748 and may increase to $90,896 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
