Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Roofing professionals to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Install, repair, remove and replace various roofing materials including shingles, and flat roofing systems
- Operate hand tools, power tools,
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, or applying necessary materials for proper roofing installation
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Coordinate with team members on-site to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout the project
Skills
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, relevant to roofing tasks
- Knowledge of construction methods such as carpentry
- Ability to perform roofing-specific tasks such as installation of various roofing materials, and restoration work
- Strong understanding and the use of safety equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise work such as caulking and sealing
- Physical stamina for working at heights and in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials safely
