Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer - Design (Mechanical) role based in the Greater Rajkot Area. The Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies for electrical distribution and automation panel systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and reliability requirements. Daily tasks include developing detailed 3D models and drawings using CAD tools, supporting product design reviews, and collaborating with electrical and production teams to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems. The role also involves conducting feasibility studies, optimizing designs for manufacturability and cost, preparing technical documentation, and assisting in resolving design-related issues during fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The Engineer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support continuous improvement and innovation in product offerings.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with applied experience in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
• Proficiency in Product Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed mechanical models and drawings.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and engineering drawings related to industrial electrical systems.
• Experience in designing mechanical structures and enclosures for electrical panels or similar industrial products is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with engineering, production, and field teams.
• Familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes, materials selection, and safety practices in industrial environments.
