Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling and a keen eye for current trends, providing exceptional service to clients. This role offers opportunities to work with a diverse range of services, including hair coloring, and specialized treatments, in a professional and welcoming environment. A background in cosmetology or barbering is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to sanitation and safety standards.

Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and texturizing to meet client preferences.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with industry regulations.
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable styles, treatments, and retail products.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, check-in/check-out procedures, and appointment scheduling
• Engage in retail sales by upselling products like hair care items, styling tools, and accessories.

Skills

• Proficiency in hair styling, color theory, and advanced techniques such as straight razor cuts and hair coloring .
• New talent is ok we can help train but must be licensed or getting one soon .
• Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Ability to perform retail sales through effective upselling strategies while maintaining professionalism.
