About The Role
We are seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer to lead the creative efforts across our growth and marketing initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will shape the visual identity of Phoenix by crafting compelling campaigns that drive performance, tell authentic human stories, and bring our mission to life across various channels. You will collaborate closely with our Growth, Creative, and Product teams to develop bold, high-impact creative assets that capture attention and foster engagement.
This role requires a blend of artistic talent and strategic thinking—where your strong design intuition meets data-driven insights to optimize creative output. You will conceptualize, design, and launch a wide range of creative assets, including digital ads, landing pages, motion graphics, and social media content. Your work will not only be visually appealing but also strategically aligned with performance goals, ensuring measurable impact. As a key member of our creative team, you will also mentor junior designers, guide external agency partners, and stay ahead of industry trends to keep our visual storytelling fresh and innovative.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a visual or marketing designer, preferably within a digital-first, consumer-facing brand.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma.
- Experience with motion design or web design is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to create visually compelling and performance-oriented designs.
- Exceptional storytelling skills, with an understanding of how design influences emotion and action.
- Highly collaborative attitude with the confidence to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and execute creative assets across paid, owned, and earned channels, including ads, landing pages, motion graphics, and social media content.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual language for growth campaigns that aligns with Phoenix's brand identity while exploring innovative creative directions.
- Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to translate performance insights into effective design strategies that enhance engagement and conversion.
- Build and organize a scalable creative library categorized by product, audience, and use case to streamline asset management.
- Manage the full lifecycle of creative projects—from initial ideation through to iteration—using data to inform and refine designs.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency, clarity, and compelling storytelling across all touchpoints.
- Lead creative brainstorming sessions and contribute to strategic planning for major campaigns and initiatives.
- Mentor junior designers and coordinate with external agency partners to uphold design standards and excellence.
- Stay informed about current design trends, digital storytelling formats, and best practices in direct-to-consumer marketing.
