About The Role

The Senior Business Analyst, Finance Excellence at Purolator plays a pivotal role in optimizing financial systems and processes related to contract, revenue, and integration management. Serving as a subject matter expert, this individual will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and testing of SAP and legacy systems. The role involves providing critical input on system requirements, validating functionalities, and ensuring comprehensive testing coverage to support system stability and performance. The Senior Business Analyst will also lead process improvement initiatives within the finance space, focusing on the Order to Cash cycle, and will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for system enhancements and operational efficiencies. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple tasks independently while collaborating across functions to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to University Graduation in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
• Recognized diploma or certification in Business/System Analytics or Testing Analytics
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, testing, or related roles
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, BRIM, and Convergent Charging (asset)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables
• Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) and co-pilot agents is an asset
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and analyze data from multiple sources
• Excellent problem-solving skills with minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to develop process controls, monitoring systems, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the long-term ERP roadmap, focusing on transforming contract, revenue, and integration management processes
• Assist in defining detailed scope and business requirements for system implementations
• Lead and coordinate all testing activities, including developing test scripts, executing UAT, and documenting results
• Review functional requirement documents to ensure alignment with business needs
• Identify, report, and prioritize defects; perform regression testing following system changes
• Provide incident management support for contract, revenue, and integration functions
• Regularly review and challenge existing processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to create training materials and facilitate workshops on new ERP functionalities
• Support technical skill development within the team and promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead and participate in Lean and process improvement projects within finance functions
• Review rating errors, manage error handling processes, and ensure data accuracy
• Monitor system performance and implement controls to ensure process integrity
