Plant Manager - Manufacturing!

Our client is searching for a strategic, hands‑on Plant Manager to take the helm of a busy Oakville manufacturing facility. This is a role for a leader who thrives on momentum—someone who can elevate performance, inspire teams, and build a culture where safety, quality, and efficiency are non‑negotiable.

What You’ll Drive

• Full ownership of daily plant operations, ensuring production targets and customer commitments are consistently met
• Smarter, faster workflows through optimized labour planning, equipment utilization, and waste reduction
• A relentless focus on product quality, on‑time delivery, and cost‑effective manufacturing
• KPI‑driven decision‑making, with proactive corrective actions to keep performance at its peak
• A safety‑first environment where compliance, training, and accountability are embedded in every process
• A high‑performing team through strong leadership—hiring, coaching, developing, and evaluating talent
• Budget oversight, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to support operational goals
• Strategic collaboration with senior leadership on forecasting, long‑range planning, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 5–10 years of plant or operations management experience within manufacturing
• Working within a unionized environment
• A proven ability to lead, motivate, and elevate teams in fast‑paced environments
• Strong command of production planning, cost control, and quality assurance
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and safety regulations
• A mindset that blends strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership and a drive for operational excellence
