Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining computer systems and networks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot system errors, connectivity problems, and application issues
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and access rights (Active Directory / email systems)
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups
- Monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security
- Maintain documentation for IT procedures, assets, and troubleshooting steps
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers when necessary
- Follow company IT policies and security best practices
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS environments
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, email systems, and common business software
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent)
