Job Description

As an Export-Import & Logistics Specialist for engineering goods, you will be responsible for managing international trade operations, ensuring compliance with customs procedures, documentation, and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve handling end-to-end export and import operations, coordinating with freight forwarders, managing DAP shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will also be required to prepare and review export-import documentation, monitor compliance with international trade regulations, and resolve any delays or discrepancies in shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end export and import operations for engineering goods
  • Handle shipment planning, coordination, and execution with freight forwarders and logistics partners
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies
  • Prepare and review export-import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, etc.)
  • Manage and monitor DAP shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency
  • Handle procedures related to dual-use items, including regulatory approvals and compliance checks
  • Coordinate with customs brokers for smooth clearance of goods
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or compliance issues
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal reporting
  • Work closely with internal teams (procurement, finance, engineering) for seamless operations

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in export-import operations, preferably in the engineering/manufacturing domain
  • Strong understanding of customs procedures and international trade regulations
  • Hands-on experience with DAP shipments and Incoterms
  • Knowledge of dual-use items compliance and export control regulations
  • Proficiency in export-import documentation and compliance processes
  • Good coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
