Retail Store Manager

Role Description The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring a high standard of customer experience, and maintaining an organized, visually appealing retail environment. This full-time hybrid role is based in Mumbai, with primary responsibilities on-site and some flexibility for work from home as appropriate. Key day-to-day tasks include supervising store staff, coordinating schedules, monitoring inventory levels, implementing merchandising guidelines, and handling point-of-sale activities and cash management. The Retail Store Manager will track sales performance, analyze store metrics, and coordinate promotional activities in alignment with brand standards. The role also involves addressing customer inquiries and concerns, managing loss prevention practices, and ensuring compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-oriented skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a focus on delivering a positive in-store experience.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to interact confidently with customers and team members.
• Proficiency in Store Management, including staff supervision, scheduling, inventory oversight, and maintaining store presentation and standards.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring store activities, safeguarding assets, and ensuring adherence to security procedures.
• Previous experience in retail management or a supervisory role in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to analyze sales data, prepare basic reports, and use point-of-sale and retail management software.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Relevant education in business, retail management, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience will be considered.
