Job Description
Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, invites applications for engagement of contractual staff at ECHS Polyclinic, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The engagement will be for a period of one year for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and 11 months for civilian candidates. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen.
Total Positions: 3
- Pharmacist: 1 post
- Lab Technician: 1 post
- Nursing Assistant: 1 post
Salary: Rs.36,500/- per month (Fixed Remuneration) for all three posts
Essential Qualification:
Pharmacist: B.Pharmacy from a recognised institute OR 10+2 with Science (PCB) and Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India. Must be registered under the Pharmacy Act 1948. Minimum 3 years experience.
Lab Technician: DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology) OR Class-I Lab Technician Course (Armed Forces). Minimum 3 years experience.
Nursing Assistant: GNM Diploma OR Class-I Nursing Assistant Course (Armed Forces). Minimum 3 years experience.
Age Limit: 18 to 56 years. Age relaxation applicable as per government norms.

Selection Process:
Shortlisting of applications followed by interview. Eligible candidates will be informed of the interview date and time telephonically. Candidates must bring all original certificates, mark sheets, degree/diploma certificates, work experience certificates, discharge book and PPO (for ESMs), service records and 2 passport size colour photographs at the time of interview. No TA/DA admissible.
Important Note: As per new ECHS policy, selected candidates are required to undergo 10 days of on-job training (OJT) without any remuneration before signing the contract.
