Job Description
As a Sales Manager for the branch and zone, your role is to maximize sales performance and achieve revenue targets through various financial products such as liability products (Current / Savings / Term deposits), wealth management products, and asset-related products. You will be responsible for effective Relationship Management by monitoring top customers, implementing customer acquisition and retention programs, and devising strategies to counter competition and increase market share through below-the-line activities and promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for new product launches and drive new sales initiatives
- Ensure employees are well-trained on all products, processes, and services to facilitate first-time resolution and minimize rejections and customer complaints
- Monitor customer satisfaction survey ratings and ensure continuous improvement in service quality
- Track transaction volumes and ensure effective migration to alternate banking channels
- Optimize the productivity of PFM, teller, and service managers
- Ensure compliance with the bank's Mis-selling & Sales Policies at all times
In the Business domain, you will be responsible for Revenue and Cost Management, including improving the deposit mix, waiver tracking, and managing operations and compliance. You will drive a strong performance culture, talent development, and succession planning within the branch. Retaining talent, addressing training needs, and implementing segment/product initiatives will also be part of your role.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate/ Post Graduate
- 7-8 years of overall experience in banking with sound knowledge of general banking, retail operations, credit operations, deposit and lending products, and inspection and audit requirements
- Leadership, communication, relationship-building, competitive awareness, and benchmarking skills
