Indus is opening up access to India’s growth story for global investors through a simple, transparent, and seamless investment platform.
We are looking for a Customer Support & Onboarding Specialist who can help new users get started confidently, resolve customer queries with clarity, and deliver a high-quality support experience.
Role Overview
In this role, you will guide customers through onboarding, support them with platform and transaction-related queries, assist with technical troubleshooting, and work closely with internal teams to improve the overall customer journey.
You should be empathetic, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable explaining financial, operational, and technical concepts in a simple and professional manner.
What you will do
- Support customers through onboarding, documentation, account setup, and platform usage.
- Handle customer queries related to payments, transactions, order status, redemptions, and account servicing.
- Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate with operations, compliance, product, and technology teams for resolution.
- Track customer interactions, follow-ups, and issue resolution using Zoho CRM or similar tools.
- Identify recurring customer issues and share feedback to improve processes and customer experience.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy when handling customer records, transaction issues, and documentation.
Key Requirements
- Prior experience in customer support, onboarding, client servicing, or operations within fintech, wealth management, mutual funds, broking, or financial services.
- Sound understanding of mutual fund operations, including customer onboarding, KYC documentation, transaction processing, order status tracking, redemptions, settlement timelines, and investor servicing.
- Ability to assist customers across onboarding, documentation, payments, transaction queries, platform usage, and account-related support.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate effectively with internal teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial, operational, and technical information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail when handling customer records, transaction issues, documentation, and support escalations.
- Proactive, ownership-driven approach with strong follow-through until customer issues are resolved.
- Knowledge of or experience working with Zoho CRM or similar customer support/CRM platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field preferred.
