Medical Office Assistant - IMMEDIATE START!!

Stadek Clinic in Downtown Fort McMurray is currently seeking a Full-time Medical Office Assistant to join our busy Psychiatrist clinic who can START RIGHT AWAY!!. The successful candidate for this position is responsible for helping patients feel welcome and comfortable, and must be able to multi-task effectively. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, professional and has experience working in a medical office. Job position is full-time, Monday - Friday with 32-40 hours per week, or more if needed. DRIVING SKILL REQUIRED.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• KNOWLEDGE IN MEDACCESS EMR SOFTWARE PREFERRED
• EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL CLINIC PREFERRED
• EXPERIENCE IN RECEPTIONIST JOB PREFERRED
• EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE PREFERRED
• Must be computer savvy
• Diploma/Certificate in Medical Assisting/Terminology preferred
• Schedule appointments for patients and physicians.
• Answer telephones.
• Fax documents to other facilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records of patients.
• Greet patients and update files.
• Clean the entire clinic
• Carry out a range of other duties that keep the medical office operating smoothly.
