Job Description
You will be part of the Sales Operations Reporting & Analytics Specialist role at Springer Nature. As part of the Sales Operations Centre of Excellence (SOCoE) team, you will be based in Dordrecht, London, Berlin, or Heidelberg, operating in the academic publishing industry. Your primary responsibility will be to create reports and dashboards, analyze metrics, and report data to Senior VPs and high-level management. You will work closely with internal Sales, Sales Operations, and IT departments to improve workflows and services delivery to customers. Additionally, you will innovate data and reporting processes and user interface of CRM systems, define requirements for improvements with stakeholders, and contribute to operational changes based on best practices.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Create and maintain new report templates and dashboards
- Research and analyze operational data for areas of improvement
- Expand the financial reporting platform across the organization (Salesforce, Data Studio, GBQ, SAP Query Designer, CRM Analytics)
- Train team members on reporting platforms
- Project manage against set timelines and deliverables
- Contribute to strategic direction for operational improvements
- Initiate and manage change processes
- Provide communication as a liaison for key stakeholders
- Support monthly loading of Institutional sales into Intelis
- Analyze IT tools and suggest necessary changes
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Minimum 6 years experience in data analysis with strong analytical skills
- Experience with CRM systems and data analysis tools
- Solid financial understanding and ability to interpret business data
- Project, process, and workflow analysis skills
- Proactive with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a flexible, reliable, results-oriented working style
