Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Control Inspector located in Burnaby, BC. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, ensuring quality assurance, implementing quality management processes, and maintaining high standards for all projects. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating materials and workmanship, documenting findings, monitoring project compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with teams to resolve quality issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Control, Inspection, and Quality Assurance
- minimum AMPP 2 Certified Coatings Inspector
- Proficient in Quality Management practices and processes
- Strong Communication and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues
- Knowledge of commercial and industrial coatings, fireproofing, and building envelope systems is an asset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Hands on experience in the field an Asset
- Industry certifications or training in quality assurance/control would be an advantage
