The tax analyst will be part of the international tax team located in Hawthorne, CA.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> </div> </div> <ul> <li>Data preparation and coordination with external service providers for preparation of both direct and indirect&nbsp;<span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">tax</span>&nbsp;returns, as well as month-end financial reporting activities</li> <li>Ensure that existing jurisdictions in which Starlink has operations are compliant with local&nbsp;<span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">tax</span>&nbsp;requirements and e-invoicing requirements</li> <li>Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams (operations, commercial, legal, customs, treasury, accounting, finance) and other stakeholders to build a strong network across these departments and with external resources to ensure compliance with local legislation</li> <li>Coordinate&nbsp;<span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">tax</span>&nbsp;payments, including monitoring payment dates, calculating correct payment amounts, and ensuring payments are properly recorded in the books</li> <li>Assist with maintaining&nbsp;<span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">tax</span>&nbsp;records, legal agreements, customs, and transfer pricing documentation</li> <li>Assist with notices/audits received from various&nbsp;<span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">tax</span>ing authorities</li> <li>Provide support as needed on ad hoc projects</li> </ul> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <div class="x_elementToProof"><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></div> </div> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree</li> <li>2+ years of combined&nbsp;<span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">tax</span>&nbsp;experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporation</li> </ul> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <div class="x_elementToProof"><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></div> </div> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in&nbsp;accounting or&nbsp;<span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">tax</span></li> <li>Prior experience at Big 4 accounting firm or multinational companies&nbsp;</li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Understanding of e-invoicing&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;and VAT/GST<strong>&nbsp;</strong></div> </li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of indirect&nbsp;<span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">tax</span>&nbsp;compliance for digital services, satellite communications, or imported hardware in multiple jurisdictions</li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Familiarity with transfer pricing &nbsp;</div> </li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">Data analytics skills, knowledge of&nbsp;Microsoft Excel, OneSource, Alteryx, and SQL</div> </li> <li>Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in work processes</li> <li>Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently</li> <li> <div class="x_elementToProof">French or Portuguese is a plus</div> </li> </ul> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <div class="x_elementToProof"><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</strong></div> </div> <ul> <li>Willingness to work extended hours and weekend when needed to meet critical deadlines</li> <li>This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite - remote or hybrid work will not be considered</li> </ul> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <div class="x_elementToProof"><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></div> </div> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <div class="x_elementToProof">&nbsp;</div> <div class="x_elementToProof">Pay range: &nbsp; &nbsp;</div> </div> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <div class="x_elementToProof">&nbsp;</div> <div class="x_elementToProof"><span class="markaibuvu5un" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">Tax</span>&nbsp;<span class="mark6e9j8e8bk" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">Analyst</span>: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00/per year&nbsp;</div> </div> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <div class="x_elementToProof"> <p>Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.</p> <p>Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
