Radiologist Consultant (PAN India)

Key Responsibilities

1. Image Interpretation

Analyze imaging studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET)

Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports

Detect abnormalities such as tumors, fractures, infections

2. Clinical Collaboration

Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and specialists

Advise on appropriate imaging tests

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings (tumor boards, case discussions)

3. Interventional Procedures (if trained)

Perform minimally invasive procedures (biopsies, drainages)

Use imaging guidance for precision treatments

4. Patient Care & Safety

Ensure proper use of radiation and imaging protocols

Explain procedures and risks to patients (in some settings)

Monitor contrast reactions and complications

5. Leadership & Supervision

Supervise junior doctors, residents, and radiographers

Maintain quality control in imaging services

Contribute to department management

6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate medical records

Ensure compliance with hospital and legal standards

7. Teaching & Research

Train medical students and residents

Participate in clinical research and publications

Stay updated with new imaging technologies
