Registered Nurse / Nurse Practitioner

Role Description This is a full-time Registered Nurse / Nurse Practitioner role based in Chennai in a hybrid work model, combining on-site clinical responsibilities with some work-from-home tasks such as documentation and virtual consultations. The professional in this role will provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and support care plans in collaboration with physicians and the broader clinical team. Day-to-day responsibilities may include patient triage, health education, care coordination, follow-up calls, and maintenance of accurate electronic health records. The role may also involve telehealth consultations, reviewing lab results, and contributing to clinical protocols or quality improvement activities. The position requires adherence to clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and organizational policies while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, with eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven clinical experience in acute care, primary care, community health, or a similar patient-facing setting.
• Strong patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and care planning capabilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), documentation standards, and basic computer skills suitable for hybrid and remote work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and provide clear patient education.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with telehealth tools, virtual consultations, and remote patient follow-up is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model based in Chennai, including required on-site shifts and periodic remote work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; advanced nursing degree or specialty certifications are an advantage.
