Position Overview
The Warehouse & Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring that installation crews are fully equipped with accurate and complete materials for each project. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficiency, reducing installation delays, and supporting the success of our field teams.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong organization, accountability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of all solar materials including panels, inverters, racking, and electrical components
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Track material usage and identify shortages in advance
- Job Staging & Kit Preparation
- Prepare and stage materials for upcoming installations based on project schedules
- Ensure all job kits are complete and accurate prior to crew dispatch
- Coordinate with operations team on daily and weekly install schedules
- Receiving & Vendor Coordination
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and report discrepancies
- Organize and store materials in a clean and efficient manner
- Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient material flow and accessibility
- Implement and maintain labeling and storage systems
- Crew & Field Support
- Support installation teams with material needs and urgent requests
- Process returned materials and restock usable items
- Track and report damaged or missing equipment
Qualifications
2+ years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Basic computer skills (Excel or inventory systems)
Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
Valid driver’s license
Preferred (but not required):
Experience in solar, electrical, or construction industries
Experience supporting field or installation teams
Compensation
Salary: $65,000 annually
