SmartHire is looking for an Order Processing Manager for a client in the Auburn WA area. This is a full time, direct hire role. The ideal candidate will have 5+ year’s customer service management, logistics or supply chain management, or a related field along with 1+ years of experience with EDI

PAY: $70k-$80k DOE

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 6am – 230pm

We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Order Processing Manager to lead our small Order Processing Department. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring seamless order transactions and delivering exceptional service to retail clients, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing order fulfillment processes. Understanding and experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is STRONGLY preferred, as over 90% of all orders are processed through this method.

Responsibilities

· Oversee and manage all aspects of the order processing cycle, from order receipt through shipment and delivery

· Develop and implement strategies to optimize order fulfillment, streamline workflows, and reduce processing times

· Collaborate with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of order processing professionals, providing training and performance feedback

· Identify and resolve order-related issues, discrepancies, and customer inquiries efficiently

· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry standards

Qualifications

· Proven experience in order processing or order management, with a strong understanding of fulfillment processes

· Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

· Proficiency in order processing systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies

· Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) in manufacturing or distribution environments

· Apprise ERP experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in customer service management, logistics or supply chain management, or a related field

· 1+ years of experience managing EDI-related order transactions

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
