As the Unit Visual Merchandising Head, your role involves overseeing the visual presentation of the store and ensuring the standardization of merchandise display. Your key responsibilities include:
- Visual Presentation of Store: You will be responsible for maintaining the visual aesthetics of the store by ensuring the proper placement of fixtures according to the planogram.
- Training and Development: Conducting training sessions on Visual Merchandising (VM) and merchandise presentation for the retail staff to enhance their skills.
- Signage Management: Managing in-store and brand signages to effectively communicate with customers.
- Focal Points and Windows: Conceptualizing, designing, and executing focal points and windows displays in alignment with the planogram.
- Event Management: Planning, designing, and executing VM for events in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Cost Management: Monitoring costs related to VM activities to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Vendor Management: Sourcing vendors for VM elements and overseeing the outsourcing of VM design execution.
Qualifications required for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, or related field.
- Proven experience in Visual Merchandising with a strong understanding of store aesthetics and layout.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in budget management and vendor coordination.
- Creative thinking ability to conceptualize innovative VM displays.
