We are not hiring an ordinary breeder . We are looking for a driven, high-performing Senior Scientist Crop Improvement Breeding who will relentlessly accelerate our crop improvement pipeline and deliver superior, high-yielding, climate-resilient varieties at unmatched speed.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead from the front and design high-velocity breeding strategies using genomic selection , speed breeding , marker-assisted selection , and advanced tools to shatter existing yield barriers and stress tolerance limits.
- Build and execute aggressive pipelines that consistently deliver elite germplasm and commercially ready varieties faster than industry standards.
- Rapidly identify, map, and introgress high-value traits (yield, drought/heat tolerance, disease resistance, nutritional enhancement) into superior genetic backgrounds.
- Fully integrate genomics, high-throughput phenotyping , bioinformatics , and data analytics to stay ahead of competitors.
- Own end-to-end multi-location field programs delivering statistically robust results and regulatory success.
- Build and mentor a high-output team that delivers excellence, not mediocrity.
- Drive strong intellectual property creation (patents PVP) and high-impact scientific publications .
What We Demand (No Compromise)
- Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Crop Improvement, or closely related field (mandatory).
- 8-15 years of proven, hands-on breeding experience in seed or agri-biotech companies with a strong track record of releasing successful commercial varieties.
- Mastery in Genomic Selection, GWAS, QTL mapping, Speed Breeding, and advanced statistical tools (R, ASReml, etc.).
- Experience in gene editing (CRISPR) is a significant advantage.
