Brief Role : Electrical Design Engineer- EPC

Job Description

JD- 1 (Electrical Protection Control Generator system)

Work involves the preparation and review of documents in the area of work, and interfacing with Consultants, Vendors and Site teams.

Years of relevant experience: 15- 25 years

Experience requirement: Experience should be hands- on in preparation of:

• Key SLD, Protection Metering SLD
• Design Basis Reports
• Sizing calculations / Equipment selection
• System studies using ETAP
• Protection, Synchronization, Control Metering scheme drawings of Generators, Transformers, Switchgear, Switchyard, Reactors and Lines
• Networking architecture including IEC61850
• Relay setting calculation and Parameterization
• Control interfaces with DDCMIS, EDMS, ECP
• Cable schedules

Areas Of Expertise:

Generators, Transformers, Switchgear, Reactors

Protection, Control, Networking of entire Power Plant, including Switchyard amp; Lines

Generator and auxiliaries, Excitation, Synchronisation, ESP

JD- 2 (Switchyard Layouts)

Work involves the preparation and review of documents in the area of work, and interfacing with Consultants, Vendors and Site teams.

Years of relevant experience: 10- 20 years

Experience requirement: Experience should be hands- on in preparation of:

• Switchyard EKD, Plan Section and Clearance diagram in conformance to relevant standards
• Design of Switchyard Layout
• Key SLD, Protection Metering SLD, DBR of Switchyard
• Sizing calculation / Equipment selection
• System studies including ETAP
• Sag Tension calculations, Structural loading
• EHV Cable routing, Gas duct routing

Areas Of Expertise:

AIS and GIS Switchyard of 400kV / 765kV

EHV Cables 220kV / 400kV

Transmission Lines 220kV / 400kV / 765kV

Layouts of Thermal Power Plant and Switchyard
