Senior Accounts Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant / Senior Accounts Manager with strong expertise in Tally Prime, GST compliance, statutory filings, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling complete accounting functions, coordinating with Chartered Accountants, and ensuring timely statutory compliance.
This role requires someone who can manage the company's financial records with accuracy, integrity, and professionalism while supporting management with financial insights and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Tally Operations
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally Prime.
Maintain accurate ledger entries, invoices, purchase records, and expense documentation.
Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable efficiently.
Generate sales invoices and maintain purchase records with proper documentation.
GST Compliance
Preparation and management of GST invoices and E-Way Bills.
Filing of GST returns and ensuring strict compliance with GST regulations.
Coordinate with GST consultants and Chartered Accountants regarding GST matters.
Financial Reporting
Prepare Profit Loss Accounts, Trial Balance, and Balance Sheet.
Analyze financial data to determine profitability and financial performance.
Assist management with financial insights and accounting reports.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely filing of TDS returns and statutory compliance.
Maintain compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory requirements.
Liaise with bank officials, auditors, and financial advisors.
Bookkeeping Reconciliation
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Perform bank reconciliation, debtor/creditor reconciliation, and verification of financial records.
Manage petty cash and internal expense records.
MIS Data Management
Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries using Microsoft Excel.
Maintain structured financial data for management review and decision-making.
Communication Coordination
Maintain professional communication with vendors, customers, consultants, banks, and auditors.
Coordinate internally with management and operational teams for financial clarity.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Minimum Experience: 12 years in accounting and finance roles
Proven experience working as Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager
Strong Knowledge Of
Tally Prime
GST compliance and returns
E-Way Bills
TDS filings
Statutory accounting compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Tally / Busy)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
