Job Description
Global Trade Compliance (GTC).
Location: Chennai
Shift: Full Night Shift (8:00 PM 6:00 AM IST)
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Global Trade
Compliance (GTC) team.
The ideal candidate will support product classification activities and ensure adherence to global customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Classify electrical products, software, and technology using the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) .
- Apply GRI (General Rules of Interpretation) to perform accurate product classification.
- Basic understanding of ECCN for export compliance.
- Manage and respond to classification requests through SAP email.
- Investigate classification discrepancies and prepare detailed justification documents for Customs authorities.
Required Qualifications Skills
- Bachelors degree in any discipline ( B.E. Electrical preferred ).
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronic components .
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
