Job Title: Business Analyst

Experience: 3-7 years

Process: The process is related to Data Quality. The applicant should a good knowledge of Capital Market Trade Lifecycle End to end understating of Trade Life Cycle Benchmark/Index, Corporate action, Sql strong, business Analysis

Position Overview : As a Data Quality Business Analyst, you will act as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical data teams. Your primary mission is to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of organizational data. You will not only identify data anomalies but also design the frameworks, rules, and documentation required to maintain a "Single Source of Truth" across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Profiling Quality Assessment Perform deep-dive data profiling to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies in large datasets. Define and implement Data Quality Rules (Accuracy, Completeness, Consistency, Timeliness, and Validity).Develop and maintain Data Quality Dashboards to provide real-time visibility into the health of business-critical data.
• Requirement Sourcing Documentation Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data engineers. Maintain the Enterprise Data Dictionary and Business Glossary to ensure standardized definitions across the firm. Create detailed Mapping Documents (Source-to-Target) for data migration or integration projects.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) RemediationInvestigate the "Why" behind data failures and coordinate with IT teams to implement permanent fixes rather than manual patches.Lead "Data Clean-up" initiatives by identifying duplicate records and obsolete data points.
• Stakeholder Project Management Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure data outputs meet business expectations. Present data quality findings to senior leadership, highlighting risks and proposed mitigation strategies.

Qualifications Skills Must-Have (Technical)

SQL Proficiency: Ability to write complex queries to extract and analyze data independently. Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to report on quality metrics.

Excel Mastery: Advanced functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) for ad-hoc data manipulation.

Methodologies: Strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile frameworks.

Must-Have (Functional)

Proven experience in Data Governance or Master Data Management (MDM).

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns in "noisy" data.

Excellent communication skills to explain technical data issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Good-to-Have

Knowledge of Data Quality tools like Informatica IDQ, Collibra, or Talend.Experience in a specific domain- Capital Markets

Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional).
