Duties

• Engage in proactive outside sales efforts by cold calling prospects, conducting product demos, and generating leads within assigned territories.
• Manage existing accounts effectively through regular follow-ups, upselling additional services, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients through market research, networking events, and strategic marketing initiatives.
• Conduct detailed product presentations and technical sales consultations to educate clients on roofing options, materials, and installation processes.
• Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for territory management.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close deals efficiently while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate with management on sales strategies, territory expansion plans, and marketing campaigns to maximize outreach and revenue.

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or roofing industry.
• Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and account development independently.
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills to build lasting client relationships.
• Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead generation and pipeline management.
• Effective communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and closing sales.
