Network Engineer L2 (On Call)

We are seeking experienced Smart Hands Network Engineers to support onsite installation and deployment of network and power infrastructure across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and deploy Cisco Meraki switches and APC UPS units within rack environments
• Perform site assessments, hardware validation, and physical setup
• Ensure structured cabling, labeling, and compliance with installation standards
• Support network cutover activities, including troubleshooting and UAT validation
• Decommission legacy hardware and manage safe removal and packaging
• Document all activities, including installation reports, inventory logs, and photographic evidence

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with network hardware installation and rack infrastructure
• Familiarity with Cisco Meraki and UPS systems (preferred)
• Strong understanding of cabling, labeling, and onsite deployment best practices
• Ability to coordinate with remote teams during cutover activities
• Good documentation and reporting skills

• This role focuses on physical deployment and onsite support; configuration and remote management are handled by the client.
• Availability for onsite visits and scheduled downtime support is required.
