Media Relations Officer

As a Media Relations Officer at Sevalaya, your role will involve crafting press releases, managing external communication, and building relationships with media representatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans, responding to media inquiries, coordinating press events, and ensuring consistent messaging aligned with the organization's values and goals. Additionally, you will monitor media coverage and identify opportunities for positive public engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Press Releases and Media Relations
• Proficiency in Strategic Communications and Public Relations
• Exceptional Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask, handle time-sensitive requests efficiently, and work in a dynamic team environment
• Prior experience in nonprofit or social development sectors is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
