Role Description
This is an as needed role for an Event Security Guard located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and security of event attendees, monitoring event premises for suspicious activities, and providing exceptional customer service. Additional duties may include conducting security checks, assisting with crowd management, and responding swiftly to any security-related incidents, as well as collaborating with event organizers for smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Physical Security, Personnel Security, and Private Security practices
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals
- Exceptional Customer Service skills to professionally address inquiries and resolve concerns
- Ability to successfully handle stressful situations and make quick decisions under pressure
- Previous experience as a security guard in events, hospitality, or a similar setting is considered an asset
- Must have a valid security license as per local/regional requirements
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per event schedules
- Must have previous event security experience
