Job Title: Site Manager – Transport Operations

Location: Sholinganallur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Role Summary:

The Site Manager – Transport Operations will lead and oversee multi-site employee transportation operations, ensuring high service reliability, cost efficiency, and strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management capabilities to drive operational excellence at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end transport operations across multiple sites, ensuring seamless service delivery
• Define and implement operational strategies for fleet optimization, route planning, and cost control
• Drive service quality through SLA/KPI management (on-time performance, safety, utilization)
• Oversee vendor ecosystem including onboarding, performance governance, and contract compliance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, Admin, Clients) for demand planning and service alignment
• Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, audit requirements, and safety protocols
• Manage and mentor site managers, supervisors, and operations teams
• Review and approve MIS reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights for decision-making
• Lead escalation management, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive automation and system adoption in transport operations (GPS tracking, rostering tools, HRMS integration)

• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
• High proficiency in data analysis, MIS, and reporting tools
• Deep understanding of transport compliance, safety norms, and vendor management

Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in transport operations / fleet management / employee transportation
• Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or multi-site management role

Education

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Operations/Logistics preferred)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
