Role Overview: Our mission at SAP is to define, implement, and evolve IT Service Supplier models that support the rapid growth in Enterprise Cloud Services. As a key contributor in the supplier governance team, you will play a crucial role in securing high-quality services at the best value in alignment with strategic direction and procurement policies and procedures. You will work within a team of supplier governance experts to bring data-driven decision-making to the next level. Key Responsibilities: - Vendor Selection and Evaluation: - Participate in vendor selection processes, issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and evaluate proposals. - Contract Negotiation and Management: - Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, including pricing and SLAs, monitor contract performance, and ensure adherence to terms. - Relationship Management: - Serve as the primary point of contact, conduct regular alignment meetings with vendors to review performance, discuss improvements, and address concerns. - Performance Monitoring and Improvement: - Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, identify areas for improvement to streamline processes, and achieve cost savings. - Risk Management: - Identify and highlight risks associated with vendor relationships, such as quality issues or contractual non-compliance.
