Role Title: Therapist - Outpatient Center

Samarpan operates India’s only CARF‑accredited rehabilitation center in Mulshi, Pune, along with an Outpatient Mental Health center in Mumbai. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out client assessments and risk assessments and document.
  • Counsel clients about their mental health using recognized theoretical frameworks and the Samarpan treatment model.
  • Provide group therapy.
  • Provide 1:1 therapy.
  • Deliver psycho-educational workshops and facilitate skills training, and other group activities.
  • Create and review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clients.
  • Produce and update client files and case notes.
  • Liaise with other relevant professionals about clients.
  • Facilitate family/couples sessions
  • Attend team meetings
  • Attend weekly case management meetings
  • Attend clinical supervision, line management reviews and staff support sessions.
  • Refer clients to appropriate services, should they fall out of scope of practice.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • MA in Psychology OR M.Phil. Clinical Psychology (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and customer relation skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Good practice case management including quality record keeping.

Preferred

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of cultural context and expectations.
