Role Description The Quality Control Chemist at Rosa Herbalcare will perform day-to-day testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet internal specifications and regulatory requirements. This full-time, on-site role is based in Tijara and involves conducting routine and non-routine laboratory analyses using standard methods and instruments. The role includes maintaining accurate documentation, preparing test reports, and ensuring all testing is performed according to SOPs and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). The Quality Control Chemist will calibrate and verify laboratory equipment, maintain reagents and standards, and participate in investigating out-of-specification or non-conforming results. The individual will collaborate with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams to support continuous improvement, process validation, and compliance with applicable quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Quality Control skills, including familiarity with GMP/GLP, documentation practices, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Proficient Laboratory Skills, such as sample preparation, wet chemistry techniques, and safe handling of chemicals and reagents.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, troubleshooting discrepancies, and preparing clear, accurate reports.
• Hands-on experience with Laboratory Equipment, including operation, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
• Competence in Calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments to maintain accuracy, reliability, and compliance with quality standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, herbal products, nutraceuticals, or related regulated industries is preferred.
• Ability to work methodically, follow detailed procedures, and manage multiple tests and priorities with attention to timelines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
