About RoboMQ
RoboMQ is a fast-growing SaaS company that delivers powerful integration and identity governance solutions to enterprise customers. Our flagship product, Hire2Retire, automates the employee identity lifecycle by integrating HR systems with Active Directory and other IT systems, helping organizations achieve seamless onboarding, compliance, and security.
Role Overview
This role is focused on creating and maintaining clear, accurate documentation and technical content for RoboMQ’s products, with a primary focus on Hire2Retire. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to understand how features work in real customer environments and document them in a way that is practical and easy to use.
In addition to product documentation, you will contribute to whitepapers and solution-focused content like marketplace listings and product demo scripts. Much of our product docs content is maintained in GitHub, so comfort with version-controlled documentation is important.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Product & Documentation Work
- Write and maintain Hire2Retire documentation, including user guides, feature explanations, and configuration steps
- Document end-to-end product workflows
- Keep documentation aligned with product releases and changes by working closely with engineering and product teams
- Review existing content and improve clarity, structure, and accuracy where needed
Whitepapers & Solution Content
- Contribute to whitepapers, technical explainers, and solution briefs
- Present technical concepts using a clear problem–solution approach that connects technology to business impact
GitHub & Collaboration
Create and update documentation stored in GitHub repositories using Markdown
Content Quality & Consistency
- Maintain consistency in terminology, tone, and structure across all documentation
- Ensure content is accurate, actionable, and easy to follow for both technical and semi-technical users
- Identify gaps, outdated content, or unclear sections and propose improvements
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a SaaS, enterprise software, or B2B technology environment.
Proven experience writing:
- Product documentation, demo video scripts and user guides
- Technical or solution-focused long-form content (whitepapers, explainers)
- Ability to understand technical systems such as APIs, integrations, and workflows, and document them clearly
- Hands-on experience working with GitHub for documentation (Markdown, pull requests, version history)
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working directly with product and engineering teams
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with identity management, identity governance, or access management concepts
- Experience documenting integrations involving HR systems, directories (Active Directory / Entra), or SaaS applications
- Exposure to release documentation or change logs
Why Join RoboMQ
- Work on a product that solves real operational and security challenges for enterprises.
- High-impact role with ownership over core product documentation and technical content.
- Direct collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Opportunity to influence how customers understand and use Hire2Retire.
