Staff Nurse ( Triage/ Emergency) (Noida)

Adherence to Nursing Clinical standards:

• Responsible for the OP & Triage routine, equipment and patients.\n

\n

• Coordinates closely with Guest Relations to plan for appointments; when expected to be busy, to escalate if resources are required.\n

\n

• Understands patient & consultant requirements and plans the daily activities.\n

\n

• Ensure the OPD is set for consultation:\n

\n

• Assist consultants in OPD consult Rooms.\n

\n

• Sets up procedure trays, dress trolleys and assists doctor in procedures and dressings.\n

\n

• Assists in transportation of patients whenever necessary.\n

\n

• Follow strictly all safety measures involved in patient care.\n

\n

• Assist gynecologists, obstetricians and pediatricians in procedures treating mothers, pediatrics and neonates.\n

\n

• Ensure all investigations are carried out as advised by the doctor; provides assistance for patients to Lab & Scan rooms.\n

\n

• Handles emergencies competently & calmly; follows instructions competently.\n

\n

• Ensures In-charge & NS is informed of any incidents immediately.\n

\n

• Ensures medication safety and practices patient safety protocols.\n

\n

• Upholds patient rights and maintains confidentiality of patient information: medical and personal; avoids any violation by ensuring no discussion of patient identifiable information in non-secure areas.\n

\n

• Provides health education and counseling to patient and attendants.\n

\n

• Implements the infection control practices.\n

\n

• Implements NABH & Nursing Excellence standards.\n

\n

• Competently handles all equipment used in patient care; ensures team is competent in usage; ensures equipment is serviceable and readily available.\n

\n

• Co-ordinates with Billing team regarding investigations and billing activities.\n

\n

• Works closely with clinical services team to ensure efficient care.\n

\n

• Follows MTP, PCPNDT rules and regulations\n

\n

\nConsultant Relationship\n\n

• Has a good relationship with consultants and works well with them.

\n

\nResponsible for Outstanding Service Experience Delivery:\n\n

• Is well-groomed as per standard; maintain discipline and decorum\n

\n

• Excels at communicating with customers and building rapport; is the face of the company\n

\n

• Responsible for the implementation of the Service Vision ensures Nurses deliver services\n

\n

• Manages the OP floor services, coordinating with support service departments to ensure customers are comfortable and services are as per standard.\n

\n

• Maintains cordial inter-personal relationship within the team and other departments\n

\n
